EMPOWERMENT LUNCHEONS - In 2009, the California Writers Collective successfully held its first ever Empowerment Luncheon. In conjunction with Universal Press and Productions, the luncheon had speakers from the literary world, small business community and professional speaking circuit to encourage attendees to take control of their own destinies in writing, starting their own business and presenting that perfect pitch to influential people who could assist them with their dreams. In the future, the CWC and Universal P&P will continue their partnership along with organizations and individuals who know the secret to success and willing to share it with others.

CWC WRITERS WORKSHOPS - Since 2005, the CWC has conducted writers workshops for new and aspiring authors who are hungry to be connected with their dreams of publishing a book. We've held our workshops across the state showing those in attendance the basics of creating a solid manuscript, publishing options and the many avenues available to market their books.
Our workshops are informative with the latest trends in literature and the changing landscape in the publishing world.
